After Hurricane Milton left Tropicana Field's roof in shreds and damaged parts of the interior, the Rays had to make a quick decision on where they would play in 2025. The most logical solution was George M. Steinbrenner Field, the spring training home of the New York Yankees, located just northwest of Raymond James Stadium on the west side of Tampa.
