I had a few business trips down to Arlington and got to take in some games in 2003 & 2004, plus a stadium tour in 2003. They have an excellent baseball museum. I found the seating and facilities to be excellent, and the prices weren't bad either. Despite the controversies surrounding the park and its ownership, and the woeful ways of the Rangers, this is an exceptional ballpark and definitely recommended to visit. Being outside the downtown areas is a big plus for some people, especially those of us acquainted with getting to Fenway Park...

May 25, Memorial Day, 2009. My favorite team, the Yankees, played the Rangers, and I got to see them. My brother and his wife were visiting their son and his wife, who live in DFW metro area, and they seats a few months ago. They got lower-deck seats under the overhang. We decided to go at the last minute, so we got nosebleed seats. Despite the fact it was a day game in Texas, the roof over the grandstand and the fact it wasn't summer yet made it comfortable. The view was better than I expected, since it was behind home plate. The Yankees won 11-1. Hughes was yanked after 8 with a shutout, which the reliever Alceves blew in the 9th, giving up a homer. It was strange seeing the Yankees in red caps. Turned out every team wore red caps that day. VERY picturesque ballpark. The grandstand reminded me of US Cellular in Chicago, but the outfield part was more picturesque. RF stands remind me of Shibe more than Ebbets, but in reverse.

I visited in 2008. I was stuck in OKC for work related training and saw my hometown White Sox would be in town for a three night stand while I was only 3 hours North. Went down on a Sunday morning for a afternoon game. This is a gorgeous stadium. Beautiful in every way. From your first view, to walking up to the gate, to exploring the inside, to taking your seat. Huge, clean concession area, with ample bathrooms, and clean walkways. My only problem with this satdium is that they seem to have overdone it. It is ridiculously huge. Like everything else in Texas, its just too big. Maybe they're overcompensating for something!! J/K?? Overall a pleasant baseball experience.

Attended a game in 1997, while attending a seminar at the American Airlines training center. Nice place, sat in upper deck, 1st row, near 3rd base. Waitresses brought our food. Rangers beat Tigers. Only oddity, the type of park, (a throwback, if you will) looks REALLY odd out there in the middle of 500 acres of flat, treeless land. Beautiful exterior, though.

I've been going to this stadium since I was a little kid and I love it. Glad to see that the Rangers are winning more now so the huge seating capacity is actually getting filled most nights compared to a while back when we couldn't fill 70% of the stands. Really like the overhanging second deck in right field. Reminds me of the old pictures I've seen of Tiger Stadium. I really like the outside of the stadium and the huge walkways leading up to your seat. Sometimes with there was some more shade cause it can get hot in Texas!
