Here's a good reason to be careful about leaving too much bird food outside! This guy came through our back yard like a vacuum cleaner just a few minutes ago. It was well after dusk, hence the blurry image. No bad odor so far, thank goodness. Once in a while that pungent aroma comes wafting inside, though. Skunks mate in the early spring months, and we sometimes hear them screeching at each other in the middle of the night. It's quite eerie.
